Social Realism
The studio is packed with art. It used to be the whole house spare the kitchen and bedroom, but the studio has made way for a family. The paintings condensed in layers along the walls of the room.
All the same, the ideas keep expanding and new paintings fill the space. The size of my newer work is definitely reflected upon the square footage of the current studio.
My paintings delve into humankind. They speak in metaphors of the ways we consider ourselves, our species, and our world.
This is the roots of Lateral Lines.
